After meeting with the EUSA representative, I've decided to take the internship. Apparently, if I declined it, I would have to lower my standards or consider working for a magazine. And I can negotiate with The Sunday Times so that I can have a weekday off instead of a Saturday; then I will only work 4 days a week. It's not ideal, but it's doable. And I will be able to go to Paris for a weekend and have one or two more Saturdays off if I make plans.
I hope it works out well. The internship is exactly what I wanted, except for the Saturdays.
I'm leaving for Dublin in a few hours so I need to go get ready.
